There is no fire at the MSU Union this evening. Steam discharge from the building’s cooling tower, combined with a yellow-colored light bulb on the roof of the Union and current atmospheric conditions created an illusion of flames coming from the roof.

First responders promptly responded and cleared the building, confirming there was no fire. We appreciate the concern from our community and prompt response from first responders.
